About the position

Iron Bow Technologies is seeking a Customer Success Manager to join our team in Herndon, VA. This role is pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and success across various sectors, including government, healthcare, and commercial industries. As a Customer Success Manager, you will be the backbone of customer satisfaction, adept at understanding and addressing our customers' needs throughout the solution lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include guiding customers through the adoption process, facilitating ongoing success, and providing unwavering support and collaboration. You will act as a vital link between customers and our internal teams, including partners, delivery, engineering, and professional services, ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving. In this role, you will be responsible for forging strong relationships with esteemed partners such as the US Air Force and DISA, ensuring unparalleled service delivery. Your ability to elevate customer relationships to trusted advisor status through regular interactions will be crucial, as will your collaboration with the Field Sales Team to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities within account portfolios. As a trusted advisor, you will drive continued value of our products and services, ensuring that all stakeholders recognize and appreciate the value we bring to the table. You will also be responsible for understanding customer pain points and providing proactive recommendations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve the best outcomes for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Forge strong relationships and engage with partners like the US Air Force and DISA, ensuring unparalleled service delivery.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure customer deployments are completed quickly and efficiently.
  • Become the trusted advisor to customers through monthly and quarterly interactions.
  • Elevate customer relationships to trusted advisor status through regular interactions.
  • Collaborate with the Field Sales Team to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities within account portfolios.
  • Drive continued value of products and services to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Ensure all stakeholders recognize and appreciate the value provided to customers.
  • Recommend ways for customers to gain more value from Iron Bow.
  • Understand customer pain points and provide proactive recommendations.
  • Develop strong relationships internally and externally with a focus on driving adoption and ensuring retention.
  • Maximize account growth opportunities, including identification of upsell opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in Sales, Technical, Project Management, or Customer Success with a Technical background.
  • Previous experience working within the US Public Sector - Federal DoD environment is required.
  • Proficiency in Cisco Systems and relevant tools is required, with a general understanding of technology verticals including Enterprise Networking, Collaborations, Security, and Data Center.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a competitive edge and keen eye for detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide quick resolutions.
  • Experience navigating and successfully steering customer engagements to completion while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, with a strong technology background and 4+ years in the IT industry or equivalent combination of education and experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of the sales cycle, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and proven negotiation techniques are desired.
  • Excellent relationship building, tenacity, resilience, presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and set priorities.
