About the position

The Partner Success Manager for Brazil at PayPal is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key C-level executives at merchant organizations. This role focuses on ensuring the health of business relationships through effective communication, problem resolution, and strategic consultation. The manager will conduct regular meetings to review business performance, address operational issues, and align PayPal's offerings with the merchants' business objectives. The position requires a proactive approach to identify growth opportunities and deliver exceptional customer experiences while managing complex merchant accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives at merchant organizations.
  • Resolve issues that threaten the health of business relationships.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings to present business intelligence and review operational issues.
  • Communicate product roadmaps and listen to merchants' business objectives.
  • Coordinate meetings with various PayPal functional groups for collaboration.
  • Communicate sensitive news to merchants and negotiate terms when appropriate.
  • Work with Marketing on multi-merchant programs and drive implementation.
  • Identify opportunities for PayPal to penetrate new properties or channels within existing merchants.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of merchant-facing experience (Account Management, Customer Success Management, or Sales preferred).
  • Experience with large/complex merchants.
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Communication, Business Administration, or a similar field; MBA or advanced quantitative degree is a plus.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; fluency in Spanish is desirable.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Outlook), Gainsight, and Salesforce.
  • Payments or financial/banking industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to balance operational workload with strategic execution.
