About the position

The Specialist Customer Success Manager (S-CSM) role within the SAP Academy for Customer Success is designed for early-career professionals. This position focuses on guiding customers through their business journey with SAP solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, and upselling opportunities. The S-CSM will oversee key customer milestones throughout the customer lifecycle, ensuring effective implementation and achievement of business goals. The role includes a comprehensive 10-month training program that combines classroom learning with practical field experience, preparing candidates for a direct customer-facing role upon completion.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a 10-month learn-apply program that includes classroom and field phases with the CSM team.
  • Immerse in experiential learning focused on digital transformation, global intelligence, and business acumen.
  • Enhance skills in managing customer retention and driving value realization.
  • Receive onboarding and mentoring from a senior S-CSM professional in the field.
  • Oversee key customer milestones from deal signature through system provisioning and implementation.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of work experience in customer support and business transformation, preferably in consulting, sales, or account management.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English and local language.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills including empathy, effective listening, and a proactive attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders in a complex environment.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of business processes and industries.
