About the position

The Specialist Customer Success Manager (S-CSM) role at SAP is designed for candidates early in their careers, focusing on guiding customers through their business journey with SAP solutions. The S-CSM is responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, and upsells for Cloud products, overseeing key customer milestones throughout the customer lifecycle. This position is part of the SAP Academy for Customer Success, a 10-month talent development program that combines classroom learning with practical field experience, preparing participants for a direct customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a 10-month learn-apply program that includes classroom and field phases with the CSM team.
  • Engage in experiential learning focused on digital transformation, global intelligence, and business acumen.
  • Enhance skills in managing customer retention and driving value realization.
  • Receive onboarding and mentoring from a senior S-CSM professional in the field.
  • Work directly with customers and behind the scenes to support their needs.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of work experience in customer support and business transformation, preferably in consulting, sales, or account management.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English and local language.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills including empathy, effective listening, and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders in a complex environment.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of business processes and industries.
