About the position

The Specialist Customer Success Manager (S-CSM) role at SAP is designed for candidates early in their careers, focusing on guiding customers through their business journey with SAP solutions. The S-CSM is responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, and upselling Cloud products, overseeing key milestones throughout the customer lifecycle. This position is part of the SAP Academy for Customer Success, a 10-month talent development program that combines classroom learning with practical experience, preparing participants for a direct customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a 10-month learn-apply program that includes classroom and field phases with the CSM team.
  • Engage in experiential learning focused on digital transformation, global intelligence, and business acumen.
  • Enhance skills in managing customer retention and driving value realization.
  • Receive onboarding and mentoring from a senior S-CSM professional in the field.
  • Work directly with customers and behind the scenes to support their needs.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of work experience in customer support and business transformation, preferably in consulting, sales, or account management.
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English and local language.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills including empathy and effective listening.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders in a complex environment.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of business processes and industries.
