About the position

The Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Buxton plays a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring clients derive maximum value from Buxton's solutions. Each CSM manages a portfolio of 30-40 customers, overseeing implementation, training, and ongoing support while acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams. This position is vital for partnering with Strategic Account Executives to shape customer strategy and pursue upsell opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions in line with client needs and project scope
  • Communicate monthly and quarterly progress updates to stakeholders
  • Train and guide clients in applying Buxton analytics and software to achieve business outcomes
  • Manage and prioritize competing client needs and coordinate team calendars
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and build trust with customers
  • Communicate client goals, objectives, and any concerns to internal analytics team to ensure solutions align with client needs
  • Monitor client relationship and usage health to appropriately identify risks
  • Identify and qualify upsell opportunities and hand off to appropriate Sales team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, economics, real estate, statistics, math, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Confident in client communication and capable of presenting to C-suite audiences
  • Strong listening skills and ability to connect with clients

Nice-to-haves

  • 1+ year of customer support experience
  • Familiarity with statistical or data analytics concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with sensitivity to diverse client needs
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite products, especially Excel
