About the position

The Customer Success Manager at Teradata is responsible for owning the account strategy for engagement, adoption, and success planning within assigned banking accounts. This role focuses on managing and curating customer relationships to drive business growth, customer value, satisfaction, and retention. The manager will act as a trusted advisor, providing education on Teradata solutions and ensuring successful adoption of technology to solve business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Own the account strategy for engagement, adoption, and success planning.
  • Manage and curate existing customer relationships to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Understand customer needs and develop new business relationships to influence and build trust.
  • Lead the development of actionable customer success plans for assigned accounts.
  • Inspire confidence and drive utilization of Teradata software through education and strategy sessions.
  • Provide customer education on using Teradata solutions to address business challenges.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and facilitator of Teradata subject matter experts.
  • Increase feature adoption of Teradata software by promoting new features.
  • Continuously engage with customers to identify and mitigate churn risks.
  • Promote new thinking for continuous development and improvement.

Requirements

  • BA, BS, MBA, or MS in business, technical or professional discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in Healthcare and/or Life Sciences industries.
  • Strong exposure and knowledge of data and analytic technologies.
  • Experience in promoting analytic solutions for large enterprises.
  • Excellent communication skills to craft and deliver messaging for various stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide thought leadership.
  • Strong organizational and people skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complexity in a changing environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience selling data and analytic solutions.
  • Experience in a pre-sales or strategic consulting role.
