About the position

The Customer Success Manager at Teradata is responsible for owning the account strategy for engagement, adoption, and success planning within assigned banking accounts. This role involves managing customer relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and education on Teradata's solutions. The manager will act as a trusted advisor, facilitating the adoption of Teradata technology and addressing customer needs to enhance their business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the account strategy for engagement, adoption, and success planning.
  • Manage and curate existing customer relationships to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Understand customer needs and develop new business relationships to influence and build trust at various levels.
  • Lead the development of actionable customer success plans and partner internally for service delivery.
  • Educate customers on utilizing Teradata solutions to solve business challenges.
  • Position new features of Teradata software to enhance analytical applications and deliver customer outcomes.
  • Engage continuously with customers to identify churn risks and devise action plans.
  • Promote new thinking for continuous development and improvement.

Requirements

  • BA, BS, MBA, or MS in business, technical or professional discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in Healthcare and/or Life Sciences industries.
  • Strong exposure and knowledge of data and analytic technologies.
  • Experience in promoting analytic solutions for large enterprises in pre-sales or customer-facing roles.
  • Excellent communication skills to craft and deliver messaging for various stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide thought leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complexity.
  • Excellent organizational and people skills.
