The Sales: Financial Partners role at Planet is a pivotal position within one of the main commercial areas of the business, which accounts for approximately one-third of all revenue. This role is focused on driving revenue and growth through the establishment of strong relationships with decision-makers in the Unattended Space, which includes Parking Operators, Integrators, Hospitals, Airports, and Municipalities. The primary objective is to secure new customers for Planet's core suite of products and services within North America. The successful candidate will work directly with the National Sales Director for North America and collaborate closely with other Business Development Managers (BDMs), Account Managers, Sales Support, Marketing, Product, Operations, and other teams to effectively sell the company's gateway and acquiring solutions. In this role, the individual will be responsible for conducting market and prospect research within the Unattended Space to identify potential partners with significant revenue opportunities. Building new relationships with these partners is crucial, as is driving those relationships to ensure they become operational with Planet's services. The role also involves coordinating and supporting the integration process in collaboration with Project Management, providing initial business training to partner business areas, and supporting marketing and sales efforts to enhance revenue generation. The candidate will be expected to collaborate on defining initial marketing and sales strategies, provide regular reports to management regarding customer development, and build an annual Sales Development plan while maintaining a robust pipeline of business opportunities. Achieving and exceeding quarterly and annual new business sales targets is a key performance indicator for this role. Additionally, the individual will maximize revenue opportunities, accurately complete sales documentation, lead the creation and delivery of new business presentations, and contribute to the broader sales team by promoting ideas that assist colleagues in achieving set objectives. The role requires professionalism, effectiveness, and a constructive approach to promoting the company and its interests.
