About the position

Property Meld is on a mission to radically improve how the property management industry handles property maintenance by offering intelligent maintenance solutions. We are seeking a dynamic Customer Success Manager who possesses a high level of emotional intelligence (EQ) and intelligence quotient (IQ), critical thinking abilities, data analysis skills, and top-tier communication skills. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers have a seamless experience with our services, and it requires the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations. The position is based in our office at Property Meld HQ in Rapid City, South Dakota, where we foster a culture of trust and collaboration among our team members. As a Customer Success Manager, you will independently manage customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction levels by identifying and assessing customer needs, risks, and opportunities. You will leverage your critical thinking and data analysis skills to anticipate customer needs and potential challenges. Your role will also involve securing customer commitments by understanding and influencing their motivations through meaningful conversations. You will develop and implement Mutually Agreeable Points (MAPS) for successful customer turnarounds, ensuring alignment and satisfaction for both parties. Problem-solving will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, as you will need to resolve customer issues with innovative and efficient solutions while maintaining effective follow-up to ensure commitments are met with excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Identify and assess customer needs, risks, and opportunities using critical thinking and data analysis skills.
  • Secure customer commitments by understanding and influencing their motivations through high emotional intelligence.
  • Develop and implement Mutually Agreeable Points (MAPS) for successful customer turnarounds.
  • Resolve customer issues with innovative and efficient solutions, leveraging critical thinking and data insights.
  • Provide consistent follow-up to ensure customer needs and commitments are met with excellence.

Requirements

  • At least 4+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or strategic consulting.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills in various contexts, including verbal, nonverbal, written, and visual.
  • High emotional intelligence to manage and influence customer relationships effectively.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and provide innovative solutions.
  • Sales acumen to understand and anticipate customer needs and close sales effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to changing situations while prioritizing tasks.
