About the position

The Customer Success Manager at Teradata is responsible for owning the account strategy for engagement, adoption, and success planning within assigned banking accounts. This role focuses on managing customer relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention through effective communication and strategic planning. The manager will act as a trusted advisor, facilitating the adoption of Teradata's software and services, and will work closely with the Healthcare & Life Sciences Go to Market Team to address customer challenges using data and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Own the account strategy for engagement, adoption, and success planning.
  • Manage and curate existing customer relationships to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Understand customer needs and establish new business relationships to influence and build trust.
  • Lead the development of actionable customer success plans and partner internally for service delivery.
  • Educate customers on utilizing Teradata solutions to solve business challenges.
  • Position new features of Teradata software to enhance analytical applications and deliver customer outcomes.
  • Engage continuously with customers to identify churn risks and devise action plans.
  • Promote new thinking for continuous development and improvement.

Requirements

  • BA, BS, MBA, or MS in business, technical or professional discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles with knowledge of Healthcare and/or Life Sciences industries.
  • Strong interest in data and analytic technologies.
  • Experience promoting analytic solutions for large enterprises.
  • Excellent communication skills to craft and deliver messaging for various stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and provide thought leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and people skills.
