About the position

The Customer Success Specialist (Bilingual Russian) at MetroPlusHealth plays a crucial role in supporting members throughout their healthcare journey. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and are committed to enhancing the member experience. The Specialist will serve as a key liaison between members and the organization, ensuring that all processes are effectively implemented to improve member retention and satisfaction. In this role, the Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the recertification and renewal of memberships across various lines of business, including Medicaid, Medicare, and Child Health Plus. They will assist members in completing recertification applications and work diligently to make the process as seamless as possible. The Specialist will also engage in proactive outreach to members, optimizing communication strategies to meet recertification targets and enhance overall member retention. Additionally, the Specialist will provide enrollment and retention support, helping members navigate their options, select primary care providers, and resolve any administrative issues that may arise. They will interface with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all member inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively. The role also involves identifying trends in member feedback and collaborating on process improvements to enhance the overall member experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, emotional intelligence, and a customer-focused mindset. They will be expected to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and demonstrate problem-solving abilities to address member concerns. This position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work, and requires a commitment to obtaining the Certified Application Counselor (CAC) certification within the first month of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Support MetroPlusHealth members and stakeholders throughout their healthcare journey.
  • Assist in the recertification and renewal of memberships for various lines of business.
  • Follow processes to meet and exceed recertification targets set by the department.
  • Make the recertification process easy and seamless for members.
  • Assist members with completion of recertification applications.
  • Partner with different parts of the organization to resolve barriers to member experience.
  • Maintain daily outreach and renewal goals to increase overall retention.
  • Assist members with enrollment activities and changing lines of business.
  • Provide end-to-end customer support to drive satisfaction and improve experience.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders for complete resolution of issues.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing for all necessary member retention activities.
  • Devise solutions in response to member dissatisfaction and support organizational improvement efforts.
  • Report common trends identified during member outreach.
  • Support ad hoc projects on process improvements.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and minimum 1 year of experience in direct consumer contact, including customer engagement, customer services, sales, or community engagement; OR a High school degree and 3-5 years of experience in direct consumer contact.
  • Healthcare experience, especially in Managed Care, preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual in Russian preferred.
  • Must obtain Certified Application Counselor (CAC) certification within the first month of employment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare or managed care environments.
  • Strong understanding of NYSOH processes.
