About the position

The Customer Success Specialist I at WillScot serves as a vital link between the company and its customers, ensuring effective communication throughout the work order and billing processes. This role focuses on managing customer service requests, resolving issues, and maintaining high service standards to achieve customer satisfaction. The specialist will handle transactional orders, invoice reviews, and collaborate with various teams to address customer needs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer transactions from initiation of order through time of return.
• Process transactional orders to ensure accuracy, including obtaining and processing signed lease agreements and purchase orders.
• Collect accurate insurance certificates and ensure customer enrollment in relevant programs prior to delivery.
• Update pending orders and upsell value-added products and services when possible.
• Communicate delivery date options and confirm delivery and returns, initiating billing of orders.
• Manage service requests in the CRM, triaging issues and ensuring satisfactory resolution.
• Proactively contact customers nearing lease end to discuss renewal options and coordinate onsite takeovers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven customer support or customer service experience.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening abilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM systems.

Nice-to-haves

• College degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience in customer service, logistics, hospitality, retail, or rental industry preferred.
