About the position

The Customer Success Specialist II at Aluminum Precision Products is responsible for building and managing relationships with customers across various departments, ensuring they receive the necessary support and guidance throughout their purchasing journey. This role focuses on enhancing customer satisfaction by proactively addressing their needs, resolving issues, and facilitating effective communication between the customer and the company. The specialist will engage with new customers to foster confidence in their purchasing decisions and will utilize their knowledge of the company's products and services to provide valuable insights and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with all departments within customer facilities, including purchasing, quality, and engineering.
  • Engage customers to ensure they receive the support they need and meet their expectations before and after purchasing products or services.
  • Explain the sales process and ensure seamless operations throughout the customer journey.
  • Answer customer inquiries with clarity and transparency, providing timely resolutions to pressing issues.
  • Form direct interpersonal relationships with customers and offer valuable options and opportunities.
  • Learn and understand customer expectations to proactively support their orders from receipt through shipment.
  • Interact with new customers to enhance retention and confidence in purchasing decisions.
  • Schedule conference calls and virtual meetings to provide interpersonal training and support.

Requirements

  • Mid-level customer service experience
  • Conflict management skills
  • Proficient in IT and manufacturing systems, with knowledge of IFS being a plus
  • Strong listening and understanding skills
  • Ability to manage expectations and foresee potential issues
  • Tenacity and professionalism in handling customer complaints and responsibilities.
