About the position

As a Customer Success Specialist at Cisco, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer success for the eXtended Threat and Response (XDR) and Breach Protection Suite portfolio. This position is highly strategic and technical, requiring you to engage with customers to facilitate their onboarding process for XDR and the Breach Protection Suite, as well as other Cisco products and solutions that are designed to transform their business and achieve desired outcomes. Your expertise in security products, particularly in XDR and Breach Protection, will be essential in understanding customer business goals, operational maturity, and pain points. In this role, you will be the champion for both the customer and your team, building and nurturing strong relationships with customer executives to gain a comprehensive understanding of their immediate needs and ongoing programs. You will help customers navigate through the customer lifecycle, ensuring they realize the value from their purchased Cisco products and services, which is crucial for successful renewals. Your insights will be based on a solid understanding of best practices for architecture, implementation, adoption, and migrations, allowing you to provide valuable guidance to customers. You will also be expected to possess technical knowledge that allows you to connect customer use cases with Cisco solutions, ensuring optimal application of these solutions in the customer’s environment. Collaboration across internal and external teams will be key, as you work towards common goals and inspire technical implementation decisions. Your role will also require a clear understanding of the business landscape, including strategic priorities and processes, to effectively manage customer expectations and deliver results. You will be a first responder to issues, skilled in managing customer concerns and delivering complex information in a clear and impactful manner to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer success for the eXtended Threat and Response (XDR) and Breach Protection Suite portfolio.
  • Engage with customers to accelerate their onboarding of XDR and Cisco products/solutions.
  • Understand customer business goals, pain points, and operational maturity.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with customer executives.
  • Help customers navigate through the customer lifecycle to realize expected outcomes.
  • Ensure customers realize value from purchased Cisco products and services for successful renewals.
  • Provide customer insights based on best practices for architecture, implementation, adoption, and migrations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical consulting or direct customer interfacing/engagement role.
  • Thorough understanding of technical fundamentals of aligned technology/specialization areas.
  • Cisco technical Certifications: CCNA / CCNP / CCDP/ CCIE or equivalent.
  • Cisco Success Management certifications: Cisco Certified Success Specialist.
  • Previous Customer Success Specialist or Customer Success Manager experience.
  • Industry Certifications: CISM / CISSP or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a Master's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Machine Learning.
  • Valid CISSP certification.
