About the position

The Customer Success Specialist at Vaisala plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving growth by building long-term relationships with clients across various high-tech industries. This position involves collaborating with sales and service teams to provide solutions that meet customer needs, manage service renewals, and identify upselling opportunities. The role requires a strong focus on customer outcomes and effective communication to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers achieve desired outcomes while using Vaisala products and services.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and drive growth.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Onboard selected Vaisala customers and schedule frequent meetings to ensure satisfaction.
  • Master the process and sale of agreement renewals.
  • Maintain calibration plans for customers and ensure accuracy of customer data.
  • Gather and share customer feedback with stakeholders within the organization.
  • Input customer data and daily activity utilizing CRM tools.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, SAP, SAC preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Customer focus with the ability to communicate service features and benefits.
  • Ability to learn market, product, and application knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in similar roles is preferred, but not mandatory.
