About the position

The Customer Success Specialist at MISUMI USA plays a crucial role in enhancing customer relationships and ensuring the effective use of the meviy digital manufacturing service. This position focuses on developing customer success strategies, addressing engineering issues, and collaborating with various departments to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will leverage their analytical skills and industrial experience to foster strong client relationships and drive customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing relationships with assigned clients as a trusted and strategic advisor to help ensure the continued value of meviy products and services.
  • Clarifying customer engineering issues and providing solutions through our digital manufacturing service.
  • Developing and maintaining customer-success strategies and best practices.
  • Collaborating with other departments to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintaining existing customer-success metrics and data as directed.
  • Providing reports to management as required.
  • Travel as needed up to 60% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, data analysis, sales, marketing or related field.
  • Experience in the equipment manufacturing industry including roles in product design, processing, or sourcing.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical components, including engineering, procurement, and design practices.
  • Problem-solving skills including the ability to define the problem and determine a course of action based on guidelines.
  • Strong skills in verbal and written communications, strategic planning, and project management.
  • Experience using a CRM to track and report activities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office365.

Nice-to-haves

  • An engineering degree related to mechanical, manufacturing, or material fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer success or solutions sales role.
  • 5+ years of experience in a design or processing (CNC, bending etc.) technical service role with a machine builder company.
  • Knowledge of 3D/2D CAD design software such as Solidworks.
  • Knowledge of basic manufacturing processing procedures.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Tableau, VBA, SQL, or DOMO.
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle management and product data management.
