About the position

The Customer Success Specialist at Pfeiffer Vacuum Inc. is responsible for managing customer interactions before and after sales, ensuring positive customer relations, and coordinating company functions to guarantee quality and timely delivery of services and products. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet departmental KPIs and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Receive sales orders from customers or sales staff via phone, email, or fax.
  • Set up, enter, and process sales orders.
  • Process repair orders for select key accounts and execute contracts, with guidance or supervision.
  • Quote price/delivery and determine records of sales orders, order status, ship date, availability, and back orders.
  • Efficiently process requests for credit and return goods authorizations from customers.
  • Review orders for accurate billing and shipping details, terms, delivery, prices, part numbers, and descriptions.
  • Communicate positively and supportively with both external and internal customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Log in to customer portals to acknowledge orders, submit quotes, or pull POs for order placement.
  • Verify special contract pricing is approved and loaded into the system accurately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Not less than two years' experience in an administrative capacity in an industrial/office work environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Windows is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented with customer service experience.
  • Basic mathematical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a service-related industry is preferred.
