About the position

The Customer Success Specialist at Advanced Environmental Monitoring (AEM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring that customers successfully onboard and receive ongoing support for their software applications. This position is integral to the customer lifecycle, providing essential training and troubleshooting assistance to clients utilizing AEM's innovative hydrometeorological technologies and services. The specialist will work closely with various teams, including technical support, technical services, and engineering, to facilitate a seamless experience for customers from the initial onboarding phase through to project completion. In this role, the Customer Success Specialist will be responsible for guiding customers through the onboarding process, which includes understanding their needs, setting up the necessary software applications, and ensuring that they are equipped to utilize the technology effectively. The specialist will also provide ongoing support, addressing any issues that arise and offering solutions to enhance the customer experience. This position requires a proactive approach to customer engagement, ensuring that clients feel supported and valued throughout their journey with AEM. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a technical background, and a passion for customer service. They will be expected to develop a deep understanding of AEM's product offerings and be able to convey this knowledge to customers in a clear and concise manner. The Customer Success Specialist will also play a key role in gathering customer feedback to inform product development and improve service delivery, ultimately contributing to AEM's mission of providing essential environmental insights.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates customer onboarding process with existing, defined structure and guides getting started activities with customer through to the completion of the project.
  • Support client deployments in conjunction with the technical support, technical services, and engineering teams throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Provide basic technical support including troubleshooting software applications.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers to ensure they are proficient in using AEM's software and technologies.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product improvements and service enhancements.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technical background in software applications or environmental monitoring technologies.
  • Experience in customer service or customer success roles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in training and educating customers on software applications.
