About the position

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong professional relationships with assigned customers and Sales Teams. You will perform a variety of customer and order service duties, ensuring that customer questions and problems are resolved promptly and effectively. Your role will involve managing the order life cycle, collaborating with various departments, and supporting the Customer Supply Chain Manager in improving service metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the order life cycle from creation through delivery, ensuring accurate pricing, terms of sales, lead-times, and inventory availability.
  • Work with Customer Supply Chain Manager and Sales management to analyze and improve key service metrics such as Pricing, Order fill, On time delivery, and Invoice accuracy.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order tracking, troubleshooting, and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Distribution to resolve service issues and order discrepancies.
  • Provide backup support to other Customer Service Team members and track key metrics for performance reviews.
  • Analyze and evaluate alternative solutions for customer requests related to lead time exceptions, pricing promotion problems, and product availability.
  • Monitor on-time delivery performance and research root causes for reliability failures.
  • Maintain monthly supply chain scorecard to monitor service performance and compliance.
  • Identify cost savings opportunities and manage customer-specific service metrics.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of customer service/related experience within Order Management, Transportation, etc.
  • Food Industry experience.
