About the position

The Customer Supply Chain Analyst at Campbell Soup Company plays a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining strong relationships with assigned customers and sales teams. This position is responsible for managing the order life cycle, resolving customer inquiries, and collaborating with various departments to enhance service metrics and address order discrepancies. The analyst will also track key performance metrics and support the Customer Supply Chain Manager in developing corrective action plans.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the order life cycle from creation through delivery, ensuring accurate pricing, terms of sales, lead-times, and inventory availability.
  • Build and maintain accurate account profiles for assigned customers.
  • Analyze and evaluate opportunities to improve key service metrics such as pricing, order fill, on-time delivery, and invoice accuracy.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order tracking, troubleshooting, and responding to inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing, and Distribution to resolve service issues and order discrepancies.
  • Provide backup support to other members of the Customer Service Team and perform miscellaneous duties as required.
  • Track key metrics for annual performance review and monitor weekly/monthly on-time delivery performance.
  • Research root causes for reliability failures and support the Customer Supply Chain Manager in developing corrective action plans.
  • Maintain monthly supply chain scorecard to monitor service performance and customer program compliance.
  • Own and manage customer-specific service metrics and provide proactive communication and action plans to mitigate service risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service environment, particularly in order management or transportation
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of customer service experience within the food industry
