About the position

The Business Support Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to candidates, contract employees, clients, and internal partners. This role involves supporting customer interactions, resolving problems, and maintaining office operations through various communication channels including telephone, email, and in-person interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Support candidate onboarding process, including I-9 form review and completion and validating I-9 documentation.
  • Assist with pre-employment paperwork completion and distribute PPE and other assets as needed.
  • Support client onboarding process, including driving AT&E utilization.
  • Manage contractor compliance with key E-Verify requirements, such as expired documents.
  • Assist with contractor training and certification requirements.
  • Serve as contact for contractor questions and facilitate communication to resolve onboarding or payroll issues.
  • Partner with the center to update contractor records for address updates and direct deposit changes.
  • Manage the processing of live paychecks and contractor travel booking requests.
  • Direct unemployment filing questions and workers compensation inquiries to the proper teams for resolution.
  • Provide outstanding front office customer service via telephone and reception area.
  • Partner with talent acquisition to manage internal onboarding for field office hiring.
  • Manage internal payroll process in partnership with BSS.
  • Distribute and collect assets for new hires and terminations.
  • Maintain high levels of administrative support to all employees and resolve process-related issues.
  • Serve as primary liaison between field office producers and corporate teams.
  • Educate field office producers on important processes and ensure timely submissions.
  • Serve as point of contact for real estate communications and property management.
  • Manage office purchasing and vendor management in partnership with BSS.
  • Order, maintain, and organize office supplies, manage mailing and shipments, and maintain office paperwork.

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in a customer service related position.
  • Associates degree or two years of applicable experience in customer service.

  • Thorough knowledge of business policies and human resource practices.
  • Understanding of the Allegis organization and its dynamics.
