About the position

As a Customer Support Representative at Extron, you will be the initial point of contact for our partners and end users who require audio visual sales and technical support. This role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support. You will handle inquiries via phone, email, and web requests, providing problem-solving support through effective diagnostic techniques and pertinent questioning to determine the best solutions tailored to the customer's needs. This includes making appropriate Extron product recommendations based on the specific requirements of each customer. Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be essential in building strong relationships with customers. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues and guiding customers through processes related to our products. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for Extron partners and end users needing audio visual sales/technical support.

  • Document customer interactions and ensure inquiries are addressed promptly.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a helpdesk support environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven track record of answering high volume calls and providing customer support or inside sales for technology products or electronics.
  • Ability to respond to customer inquiries through troubleshooting techniques.
  • Desire to build customer relationships.
  • Technical, organizational, and logical aptitudes are preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Computer literate and able to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.
