About the position

The Customer Support Representative at Carole Fabrics is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining customer relationships. This role emphasizes empathy and effective communication, ensuring customer satisfaction while documenting interactions for internal teams. The position is office-based and requires a proactive approach to customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly customer service while accurately fulfilling customer orders via phone and email.
  • Track and troubleshoot customer orders and shipments.
  • Take and record customer complaints.
  • Research and resolve issues within Carole guidelines.
  • Provide customers with timely and accurate information relative to general inquiries.
  • Issue returns and return labels on repair and remakes.
  • Monitor Customer Service email Inbox and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams to provide excellent customer service.
  • File, pull, and purge paperwork.
  • Maintain call log.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3-5 years customer service representative experience in a call center environment.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Accuracy with names, numbers, and spelling.
  • Ability to use office equipment, such as computers, phone, and scanner/copier.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and M365/Outlook.
  • Experience in Gmail and Google Chrome.
  • Strong communication skills including listening, verbal, and written skills.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Office administration skills.
