About the position
Tru-Tone is seeking a Customer Support Representative to join their team for a part-time, seasonal role. The position involves engaging with customers, assisting with orders, and providing support through various communication channels, including social media. The ideal candidate will be energetic, personable, and quick to learn, with strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and build sustainable relationships of trust through open communication.
- Assist with orders, refunds, exchanges, and replacements while maintaining related records.
- Recommend products based on customer needs.
- Communicate with managers about overall customer experience and feedback.
- Assist with sales and order fulfillment for special requests and large scale orders.
- Engage with customers on social media platforms and direct support requests to appropriate channels.
- Archive notable posts and perform other general administrative tasks.
Requirements
- 2 years of customer service experience (preferred).
- Basic math proficiency and calculator skills.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly.
- Attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year of experience with Shopify order management (not required).
- 1 year of experience with shipping software (not required).
- 1 year of experience in social media management (not required).
- Interest in or desire to learn about holiday lighting.
