About the position

The Customer Support Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for patients and staff, providing exceptional live chat support in a remote capacity. This role is crucial for addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all users, particularly in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective live chat support to resolve inquiries and issues from students, parents, and staff.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with customers in a virtual environment.
  • Document customer interactions and feedback accurately in our support system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues swiftly.
  • Assist in developing knowledge base articles and resources to improve customer self-service options.
  • Identify trends in customer inquiries and suggest improvements to enhance the overall support process.
  • Other related duties as assigned to improve customer support and engagement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service or support, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with live chat support tools and customer support software.
  • Ability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
