About the position

The position involves providing exceptional customer service and technical support for chromatography products at Phenomenex. The role focuses on responding to customer inquiries, offering product recommendations, and assisting with order management while collaborating with sales and technical teams to meet sales goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming inquiries via internet chats, phone calls, web inquiries, and emails.
• Provide product recommendations and troubleshooting support.
• Prepare quotes and assist with orders.
• Collaborate with the Technical Product Support Team and Sales Team to provide product support for separation science-related products and services.
• Assist customers with product information, recommendations, application searches, and preliminary method development.
• Utilize CRM, ERP, ticketing, and chat software to document interactions and provide support.
• Work to meet global and regional sales revenue goals and associated KPIs.
• Provide world-class customer service to maintain high satisfaction ratings and foster strong relationships with customers.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Life Science such as Chemistry or Biology.
• One year of Sales experience or Customer Service experience.
• 1 year of exposure to chromatography and/or sample preparation.
• Strong desire to cooperate in a teamwork environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and database management.
• Ability to quickly master new software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
