About the position

The Customer Support Technician at Racelogic USA is a vital role within the technical support team, responsible for providing expert assistance to American customers while collaborating closely with the UK headquarters. This position focuses on delivering outstanding technical support during American business hours, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution across time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary technical contact for US customers during American business hours.
  • Provide knowledgeable support on Racelogic products through phone and digital channels.
  • Work closely with the UK team to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Create and update support documentation for the North American audience.
  • Participate in product testing and validation programs coordinated with UK headquarters.
  • Maintain the track map database with US and Canadian racing venues.
  • Update the vehicle CAN database with North American vehicle models.
  • Develop region-specific solutions for US customer requirements.
  • Share US market feedback and support trends with UK technical teams.
  • Travel to customer sites across the United States when needed.
  • Deliver training sessions in US time zones (both online and in-person).
  • Support the US sales team with technical configurations.
  • Follow company procedures while adapting to US market needs.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment spanning two continents.

Requirements

  • Technical aptitude with CAD, 3D Printing, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience with customer service software platforms.
  • Strong digital skills for remote collaboration.
  • Clear communication abilities, especially for UK/US coordination.
  • Methodical problem-solving approach.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience with technical hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of the US automotive industry (OEM, Aftermarket, or Motorsport).
  • Technical degree and/or relevant certifications.
  • CAD/3D Printing experience.
  • Electronics hardware background.
  • Software proficiency.
