ALPI Customs Brokers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Customs Specialist to join their team in Valley Stream, NY. The role involves managing customs entries comprehensively, ensuring compliance with US Customs Regulations, and facilitating various clearances. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in customs processes and relevant software proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Complete customs entries from A to Z
- Ensure compliance with US Customs Regulations
- File air, ocean, and border crossings
- Handle FDA and Fish & Wildlife clearances
- Manage Customs entry bonds
- Process LACEY/TSCA and ADD/CVD documentation
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in customs entry writing
- Strong knowledge of US Customs Regulations
- Experience with filing air, ocean, and border crossings
- Familiarity with FDA and Fish & Wildlife clearances
- Knowledge of Customs entry bonds
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with CargoWise is a plus
