About the position

Prevailance, Inc. is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to serve as a CVENT Event Registration Manager. This role is critical for managing event registrations through the CVENT platform, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders involved in various events. The responsibilities of this position encompass a wide range of tasks, including the development and management of registration landing pages, testing the registration process, and coordinating with the ACT office of budget and finance to create an attendee payment solution in CVENT when applicable. The Event Registration Manager will also be responsible for developing and managing event agendas and speaker lists under the guidance of the respective event Project Officers (PROJOs). In addition to CVENT-specific tasks, the role includes managing media and document libraries in both CVENT and SharePoint, ensuring that all event-related materials are organized and accessible. The manager will also be tasked with updating content in the Attendee Hub and managing the registration approvals process in coordination with the Administrative Office of the Secretary (AOS) and Protocol as required. Providing direct email support to registrants regarding their registration and the use of the CVENT Event Application is also a key responsibility. Furthermore, the role involves offering administrative support in the planning and execution of strategic engagements to enhance the attendee experience, particularly for events that do not utilize CVENT for registration management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop registration landing pages using CVENT.
  • Test the registration process, including multiple registration pathways for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the ACT office of budget and finance to develop an attendee payment solution in CVENT if applicable.
  • Develop and manage event agendas in CVENT under the direction of respective event PROJOs.
  • Manage speaker lists for individual events under the direction of respective PROJOs.
  • Manage media and document libraries in CVENT and SharePoint for all events as directed.
  • Develop, manage, and update content in Attendee Hub under the direction of respective event OPRs.
  • Manage the registration approvals process in coordination with AOS and Protocol as required.
  • Provide direct email support to registrants regarding registration and access/use of the CVENT Event Application.
  • Offer administrative support in the planning and execution of strategic engagements to enhance the attendee experience.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated competency as a user and administrator of the CVENT platform and all embedded functionality.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience within the last four (4) years where use of CVENT has been the primary role/duty.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) in SharePoint administration for a large organization, with proven ability to design, setup, and manage SharePoint portals and workflows.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, planning, written, and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English as defined in STANAG 6001 (SLP 3333 - Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) or equivalent.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated ability to work in large, heterogeneous organizations and teams, solving problems in a group environment.
  • Three years in the last 10 in the field of event management.
