As a Customer Experience Researcher at Trimble CTCT, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our product offerings through a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about customer-centric products that address real-world challenges and deliver significant value to our customers in the global Civil Construction industry. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research that informs user-centric design solutions, ensuring that our products meet the evolving needs of our users. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various teams, including Customer Research, Customer Segment, and Technical Strategy, to explore and execute a range of research activities. Your insights will guide product teams in developing a profound understanding of our customers and end users. The position requires a blend of qualitative and quantitative research skills, strong analytical capabilities, and effective communication skills to convey findings and recommendations. You will be involved in research planning and execution, where you will work with product teams to clarify research goals and craft clear research plans. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing user research studies using various methodologies such as usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and ethnographic research. You will also conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover user behaviors and motivations, synthesizing findings into actionable insights that drive product improvements. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with UX Design, Product, and Technical Leads to ensure that customer and user insights are integrated into design iterations. You will coordinate with customer support teams to gather user feedback and identify areas for improvement, ensuring a cohesive understanding of user needs across the organization. This position may require domestic and international travel (less than 25%) to conduct research on construction job sites and gather user feedback at various research events.
