About the position

The Cyber DevSecOps Engineer at ManTech International is a critical role focused on enhancing cyberspace operations for the Department of Defense (DoD). This position involves providing DevSecOps expertise to support the LevelUP Software Factory, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and deploying Kubernetes-based platforms in both cloud and on-prem environments. The role requires continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes and collaboration with customers to optimize DevSecOps deployments.

Responsibilities

• Provide DevSecOps expertise in support of the LevelUP Software Factory for Cyber Network Operations (CNO) capability development and mission execution.
• Follow processes compliant with the published DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design.
• Implement CI/CD pipeline technology stacks across multiple security classifications.
• Implement IaC and CaC technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Kubernetes Operators, AWS Cloud Formation, and others.
• Deploy a variety of Kubernetes-based DevSecOps platforms for unclassified and classified environments.
• Enhance the cybersecurity and code security process of the CI/CD pipeline and DevSecOps platform.
• Utilize hardened containers from Iron Bank or similar repository.
• Develop automated processes for the container accreditation process in modern programming languages.
• Continuously work with the customer to improve processes and timeliness for Enterprise DevSecOps deployments.
• Stay knowledgeable in emerging cloud-based DevSecOps technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 7 or more years of relevant experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or greater certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Istio, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible.
