About the position

The Cyber Forensics Analyst position at Deloitte involves joining a dedicated team focused on digital forensics and investigations. The role is centered around protecting the Deloitte brand and its clients through high-tech investigations, including electronic evidence collection, computer forensic analysis, and data recovery. The analyst will work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders to provide actionable insights and recommendations based on forensic findings, while also contributing to the improvement of investigation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Digital Forensic & Investigations Team in high-tech investigations involving electronic evidence.
  • Perform computer forensic and investigative services including digital evidence collection, preservation, analysis, and data recovery.
  • Conduct technical analyses and interpretations of computer-related evidence such as emails and data stored on electronic devices.
  • Document and generate examination reports to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on forensic analysis when necessary.
  • Contribute to the overall process improvement of investigation policies and processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders, including legal, talent, insider threat, incident response, and cyber security teams.
  • Stay updated on emerging digital forensic and investigation trends, technologies, and techniques.
  • Evaluate, test, recommend, and integrate new Electronic Discovery and/or Computer Forensic tools and technologies.
  • Develop unique and creative solutions to problems on the fly to perform mission-critical tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in roles such as Security Analyst, Incident Responder, Forensic Examiner, and/or Enterprise Mail Administrator.

Nice-to-haves

  • Verifiable skills performing computer investigations.
  • Understanding of forensic protocols and artifacts, operating systems, email examinations, and platforms.
