About the position

The Cyber Incident Response Coordinator will serve as the primary security contact for clients and stakeholders during incident recovery operations. This role is critical in ensuring that incidents are managed effectively and efficiently, minimizing the impact on business operations. The coordinator will be responsible for organizing and prioritizing recovery tasks based on business needs and security best practices. This includes communicating with the Project Management Office (PMO) for task coordination, providing status updates, and managing any issues that arise during the recovery process. In addition to managing recovery tasks, the Cyber Incident Response Coordinator will implement best practices in incident response, cybersecurity analysis, and case management. This involves a thorough understanding of the security landscape and the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world scenarios. The coordinator will also be tasked with managing the security and operational stability of IT services that are being recovered, ensuring that all systems are restored to a secure and functional state. The role requires a proactive approach to incident management, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning from past incidents. The coordinator will need to stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, adapting the incident response strategy accordingly. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity and security of client systems during recovery operations.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Dell and/or VMware products.
  • Experience in incident response.
