About the position

The Cyber Incident Response Coordinator at NavitsPartners plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating incident recovery operations for clients and stakeholders. This position requires a proactive approach to lead as the primary security contact during incidents, ensuring that recovery tasks are organized and prioritized effectively according to business needs and security best practices. The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining clear communication with the Project Management Office (PMO) to facilitate task coordination, provide status updates, and manage any arising issues during the recovery process. In addition to leading recovery operations, the Cyber Incident Response Coordinator will implement best practices in incident response, cybersecurity analysis, and case management. This includes managing the security and operational stability of IT services that are being recovered, ensuring that all actions taken align with industry standards and organizational policies. The role demands a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to adapt to various situations as they arise, making quick decisions that impact the recovery process. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in security and incident response, with specific expertise in Dell and/or VMware products. This position may require travel to client locations on short notice, emphasizing the need for flexibility and readiness to respond to incidents as they occur. The Cyber Incident Response Coordinator will be instrumental in safeguarding client interests and ensuring a swift and effective recovery from cybersecurity incidents.
