The Cyber Incident Response Coordinator will serve as the primary security contact for clients and stakeholders during incident recovery operations. This role is critical in ensuring that recovery tasks are organized and prioritized according to business needs and security best practices. The coordinator will be responsible for communicating with the Project Management Office (PMO) to facilitate task coordination, provide status updates, and manage any issues that arise during the incident response process. In addition to managing communication, the Cyber Incident Response Coordinator will implement best practices in incident response, cybersecurity analysis, and case management. This includes overseeing the security and operational stability of IT services that are being recovered, ensuring that all recovery efforts align with established security protocols and standards. The role requires a proactive approach to incident management, with a focus on minimizing downtime and restoring services efficiently. Candidates must possess a strong background in security and incident response, with specific expertise in Dell and/or VMware products. The position may require travel to client locations on short notice, emphasizing the need for flexibility and readiness to respond to incidents as they occur.
