About the position

The Cyber Instructor/Curriculum Developer IV position is a full-time, on-site role focused on developing, instructing, validating, and maintaining course material for the Officer Training Course at the 319th Combat Training Squadron in Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires expertise in LINUX and cyber operations, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience, including military personnel and government civilians.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training materials for cyber-based classroom activities.
• Conduct lessons, exercises, and hands-on activities related to cyber operations.
• Update and maintain Cyber-based training materials in coordination with internal and external agencies.
• Interface with Cyber agencies to ensure training relevance and accuracy.
• Coordinate instructional activities with contract task leads and government personnel.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in a relevant field or Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of work experience in the space Cyber career field.
• Active Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility.
• Experience in developing academic materials consistent with Instructional System Design (ISD) principles.
• Skilled communicator and experienced platform instructor capable of teaching diverse audiences.
• Expert knowledge of LINUX OS fundamentals and cyber security concepts.

Nice-to-haves

• Completion of Air Force Instructor Course preferred.
• Working knowledge of instructional design skills (ADDIE) and adult learning theories.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
