About the position

The Cyber Intelligence Analyst (Level IV) role focuses on gathering and integrating intelligence on worldwide cyber and electronic warfare (EW) threats relevant to missile defense systems. The analyst will support Cyber Assistance Teams (CATs) in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats, leveraging both open source and intelligence community resources to understand threat techniques and tactics. This position requires collaboration with various defense organizations to ensure timely and complete situational awareness of cyber threats affecting missile defense systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide intelligence on cyber/EW threats to the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).
  • Assist Cyber Assistance Teams (CATs) in defeating cybersecurity threats and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Leverage open source and intelligence community resources to understand threat techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Liaise with the Intelligence Community (IC) to gather cyber intelligence on threats affecting Defense Industrial Base (DIB) partners.
  • Conduct research and analysis of classified reporting and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) to identify threats to DIB partners.
  • Consolidate threat TTPs to support CAT mission and develop threat-based assessment plans.
  • Gather and integrate intelligence community data on worldwide cyber threat trends against missile defense systems.
  • Develop and present ad hoc reporting and products to ensure situational awareness of MDA elements.
  • Manage the Intelligence Community Request for Information (RFI) process and relay critical intelligence across MDA.
  • Respond to ad hoc taskings from MDA elements for cyber/EW threat intelligence.
  • Support the Cyber Intelligence Team (CIT) in ensuring cybersecurity of missile defense systems.
  • Develop and present cyber/EW threat intelligence briefings and reports to senior leaders and program elements.
  • Provide cyber threat intelligence support to risk assessments focused on future system vulnerabilities.
  • Research, develop, and disseminate cyber threat intelligence reports daily as part of the CIT.
  • Post products on approved portals and disseminate intelligence reporting to MDA customers.
  • Support meetings and working groups with cyber threat intelligence and prepare After Action Reports (AARs).
  • Participate in cyber tabletop exercises and vulnerability penetration testing.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience in cyber threat analysis.
  • Clearance: TS with SCI eligibility.
  • Education: Degree in relevant field such as history, political science, sociology, or other social science field.
  • Preferred certifications include: Security+ (SEC+), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Network+ (Net+), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead teams to analyze and resolve problems.
