About The Position
The Cyber Network Engineer, Senior position is critical for ensuring that the Department of Defense (DoD) has a robust and adaptable network infrastructure to support its missions. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in network design and architecture to create and maintain networks that meet the evolving needs of the DoD. Your responsibilities will include developing enterprise-wide infrastructure designs, troubleshooting complex network issues, and enhancing the security, reliability, and availability of mission-critical systems. You will apply your expertise in various networking technologies, including routing and switching, multi-protocol label switching (MPLS), and virtual routing and forwarding, to guide a team of engineers in deploying new capabilities and technologies. Your role will also involve serving as a trusted advisor to clients, utilizing your knowledge of industry standards and best practices to optimize operations and ensure compliance with security policies. As a Cyber Network Engineer, you will be at the forefront of national security efforts, using your technical skills to analyze current infrastructures and implement improvements. You will work with a variety of network equipment and software, including firewalls, load balancers, and cloud-native networking appliances, to create secure and efficient network solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the DoD's ability to respond to emerging threats and maintain operational readiness.
