About the position

The Cyber Operations Manager will lead cybersecurity and information technology enterprise services for U.S. Southern Command in Doral, FL. This role involves operationalizing compliance activities, managing cybersecurity risk, and overseeing network operations security center activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in military or contractor roles, particularly within the J6 Communications Systems Directorate, and will be responsible for presenting technical solutions to leadership while ensuring the security and functionality of communication systems.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize US Cyber Command Cyber Task Order compliance activities.
• Monitor cybersecurity risks and manage Southern Command constructed networks.
• Plan and manage the contractor workforce for Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) activities.
• Oversee and manage NOSC functions including network monitoring and management.
• Manage Tier 3 Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) functions such as analysis, infrastructure support, incident response, and auditing.
• Support full-spectrum cyber operations.

Requirements

• A minimum of six years of leadership over cyber analysts responding to cyber incidents.
• A minimum of five years of leadership experience executing command and control in any warfighting domain.
• A minimum of five years of experience operationalizing JFHQ DODIN CTOs.
• Possess an Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III qualifying certification or set of certifications.
• A minimum of five years of experience with DISA's Joint Regional Security Stack.
• A minimum of five years of experience with network defense tools such as routers, firewalls, IPS, IDS, and log correlation tools.
• A minimum of five years of experience with endpoint cybersecurity.
• Possess a fully adjudicated TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
