The Cyber Operations Mission Trainer position at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas, is critical for the development, maintenance, and instruction of standardized cyber operations training utilizing TNO platforms. This role supports Combatant Commanders globally by providing operations personnel with comprehensive training courses aimed at enhancing the Mission Qualification Training (MQT) of crewmembers. The developed courseware will ensure that crew trainees are well-versed in TNO operations, adapting to both current and future platforms. The depth of the courseware will be tailored to the responsibilities of the crew, increasing in complexity with each level of instruction. The 91 COS is tasked with multiple mission areas that require analytical support, utilizing advanced tools for network characterization and baseline trending in highly technical mission areas. This position will be responsible for maintaining and updating existing courseware as new system versions are deployed, ensuring that training remains relevant and effective. The role may require working evening shifts to accommodate surges in personnel needing MQT, emphasizing the need for flexibility in scheduling. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining curriculum for various training programs such as MQT, Continuation Training (CT), Individual Training (IT), Upgrade Training (UT), and platform Difference Training (DT). The trainer will also assist in creating Job Qualification Standard (JQS) documents, Master Training Plans (MTP), and Master Task Lists (MTL). Additionally, the trainer will generate simulated tasking files that accurately reflect current operations and manage training network responses to ensure realistic operator training. The position involves evaluating crew performance, documenting training deficiencies, and creating assessment tools to measure training proficiency. The trainer will also be responsible for developing courseware for various roles within the cyber operations framework, including the Cyberspace Operations Controller-Attack (OC-A), Crew Commander-Attack (CCC-A), Cyberspace Operator-Attack (CO-A), and Cyberspace Operations Technician-Attack (OT-A). This includes preparing training materials, administering practical exercises, and conducting evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of the training provided. The trainer will also maintain proficiency in all crewmember positions relevant to unit cyber operations platforms and assist in the development of future training materials as needed.
