About the position

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as a Course Developer/Instructor specializing in Cyber Integration in space operations. This role also serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Cyber Operations, contributing to our diverse and talented team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training courses and content that align with the National Space Defense Center (NSDC) mission. They will facilitate student training in both classroom and operational settings, while also establishing and standardizing procedures related to NSDC operations. In addition to instructional duties, the candidate will provide on-site technical expertise in Cyber Operations. This includes defining the roles and responsibilities of cyber operators, supporting Defensive Cyber Operations, and overseeing Cyber Range Operations with a strong focus on integrating cyber capabilities into the operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training courses and content for Cyber Integration in space operations.
• Facilitate student training in both classroom and operational settings.
• Establish and standardize procedures related to NSDC operations.
• Provide on-site technical expertise in Cyber Operations.
• Define roles and responsibilities of cyber operators.
• Support Defensive Cyber Operations and oversee Cyber Range Operations.
• Develop, refine, and update training courseware based on instructor observation and student feedback.
• Participate in lesson-learned meetings to enhance training events and exercises.
• Support a Tier Combatant Command exercise to validate training and revise training as necessary.
• Produce monthly status reports about ongoing and upcoming events.
• Provide recommendations to senior leadership to ensure mission success.

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience in Cyber Operations and/or planning.
• 10-15+ years of Cyber Training and/or Evaluations in a classroom and simulator environment.
• Current Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 15+ years of experience in an SAP/SCI environment within the last five years.
• Master's degree (MA/MS/ME) or relevant work experience/training certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in developing training courseware for cyber operations.
• Familiarity with the National Space Defense Center (NSDC) mission.
• Experience in overseeing Cyber Range Operations.
