About The Position
The Cyber Policy and Strategy Analyst position at Booz Allen is a critical role in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity, particularly focused on safeguarding the Navy's Fleet. As a strategic thinker, you will be responsible for proactive planning and implementation of cybersecurity policies and strategies that align with the Department of Defense (DoD) directives and the Navy's operational needs. Your expertise will be pivotal in fortifying the cyber resilience of Navy afloat platforms and networks. In this role, you will leverage your extensive background in project management and your experience with the Navy's Risk Management Framework (RMF) to analyze, interpret, and apply relevant directives, instructions, and policies to the client's cybersecurity portfolio. You will be tasked with promoting awareness of these policies and ensuring that the cybersecurity initiatives are robust, forward-thinking, and effectively integrated into the overall strategic framework of the organization. Your efforts will contribute to ensuring compliance and addressing both current and future cybersecurity challenges faced by Navy afloat platforms. The position requires a deep understanding of the technical and operational requirements for integrating cybersecurity into Navy systems, as well as the ability to align cyber policies with the client's mission, vision, and goals. You will be expected to utilize best practices and lessons learned from external organizations and stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of the cybersecurity initiatives. This role is essential in maintaining the cybersecurity posture of the Navy and ensuring that the organization is prepared to meet the challenges of the future.
