About the position

The Cyber R&D Program Manager at Lockheed Martin is responsible for leading cyber security and hardware assurance programs within the Department of Defense (DoD). This role involves managing diverse research and development teams to create advanced security solutions that protect weapon systems from sophisticated threats. The position requires collaboration across various organizational levels to ensure the successful transition of advanced technologies into DoD product lines, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex research and advanced technology development projects for Government programs.
• Manage R&D teams focused on cyber security and hardware assurance.
• Oversee the transition of advanced technology from concept to DoD product lines.
• Build strong working relationships across Lockheed Martin to advance cyber resilient systems.
• Ensure contract deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

• Experience in leading government programs such as DARPA, ONR, or AFRL.
• Proven track record of managing advanced programs on-cost and on-schedule.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Demonstrated program management skills in Contract Research and Development (CRAD).
• Knowledge of the DoD Science & Technologies environment and acquisition process.

• Experience with embedded cyber resilient systems and software assurance.
• Familiarity with weapon system cyber vulnerability assessments.
• Strong negotiation skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
