About the position

The Cyber Security Advisor role focuses on creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent attacks on company systems. This position involves implementing and supporting security technologies across various domains, including endpoint security and cloud security, while also coordinating with IT and end users to protect company assets and minimize disruptions.

Responsibilities

• Create cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks.
• Implement and support technologies across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains.
• Support critical Endpoint Security projects including CrowdStrike implementation and expansion.
• Develop and implement enterprise security solutions to mitigate information systems risks and vulnerabilities.
• Research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and design countermeasures.
• Coordinate with IT and end users to minimize disruptions and protect assets.
• Provide information security recommendations to management in support of business strategies and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent formal training or work experience.
• Six (6) years' experience in at least four of the following areas: business continuity and disaster recovery, network forensics, security and risk frameworks, endpoint security, information systems auditing, vendor risk assessment, cyber risk assessment, network intrusion detection/prevention, identity and access management, IT lifecycle management.
• Linux troubleshooting and Endpoint Security experience required.
• Strong technical, consulting, and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical subject matter effectively to multiple organizational layers.
