About the position

The Cyber Security Analyst 2 position at the Alakaina Foundation Family of Companies involves supporting government customers in Kauai, Hawaii, by ensuring the safety of information systems and protecting them from unauthorized access or destruction. The role includes coordinating accreditation activities, monitoring security protocols, and performing necessary security tasks in compliance with various government regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Support accreditation activity efforts by coordinating with C-ISSO and Government personnel.
• Monitor IAVM, Patches, STIG, etc.
• Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets.
• Perform activities related to Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Process and other policies for safeguarding classified and unclassified information.
• Accurately perform security tasks required by various government regulations and standards.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus ten (10) years IT experience or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus five (5) years of cybersecurity experience.
• Three (3) years of Navy accreditation or RMF experience; equivalent years of experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
• Possesses knowledge of DoD cybersecurity practice.
• DoD 8570/8140: IAM I security certification.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a Secret security clearance.
