About the position

Amentum is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst I to support the Cyber/IT Department in Kekaha, Hawaii. The role involves ensuring the safety of information systems, coordinating accreditation activities, and monitoring the implementation of security measures. The analyst will work with various government personnel to protect classified and unclassified information and will be responsible for performing security tasks in compliance with established regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
• Conduct activities related to NIST RMF Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Process and other policies for safeguarding US and foreign Government classified and unclassified information.
• Accurately perform security tasks required by the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), NIST Special Publication 800-37, and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process.
• Monitor and coordinate implementation of IAVM, Patches, STIG, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3 years of Navy accreditation or RMF experience; equivalent years of experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline + 3 years of cyber security experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent + 5 years IT experience or bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline + 3 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Certification: DOD 8570/8140: IAM I.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
