About The Position
The Cyber Security Analyst position at Dexian Signature Federal is a senior-level role that requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the cybersecurity field. This position is critical to the Mission Defense Team, where the analyst will serve as a technical expert and will be responsible for managing security incidents from inception to final reporting. The role involves direct interaction with senior external personnel on significant technical matters, necessitating coordination between various organizations. The analyst will coordinate enterprise incident response efforts, including command and control functions, in response to cybersecurity incidents, ensuring that all actions are documented and resources are utilized effectively. In this role, the analyst will be tasked with detecting, identifying, and reporting possible cyber-attacks, intrusions, and anomalous activities. This includes characterizing and analyzing network traffic and system data to identify potential threats to resources. The analyst will also perform security event and incident correlation using information gathered from various sources within the enterprise. Analyzing and assessing damage to data and infrastructure as a result of cyber incidents is a key responsibility, along with writing and publishing detailed cyber incident reports that outline findings and provide mitigation and remediation recommendations. The position also requires the development and documentation of incident response guidance, processes, and procedures. As a lead, the analyst may manage the work of others, ensuring that the team meets its objectives and maintains high standards of performance. This role is based in Springfield, VA, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.
