About the position

As a Cyber Security Analyst Senior Advisor at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in enhancing cyber defense strategies using advanced technologies. This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cyber security assurance processes to protect our clients' missions and prepare for future threats. Your expertise will contribute to developing security policies, conducting assessments, and monitoring the organization's cyber security posture.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute tests of systems to evaluate results against specifications and requirements.
• Perform assessments of systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations and policies.
• Measure the effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.
• Establish program control processes to mitigate risks and support certification and accreditation of systems.
• Assist in implementing required government policies such as NISPOM and DCID 6/3, and recommend process tailoring.
• Validate established security requirements and recommend additional safeguards.
• Conduct forensic analysis of digital information and handle evidence.
• Identify network intrusion evidence and perpetrators.
• Support formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) processes through preparation, participation, analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct periodic reviews of system audits and monitor corrective actions until closure.
• Provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced cybersecurity personnel.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience in cybersecurity.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Top Secret SCI + Polygraph security clearance required.
• US Citizenship required.
