About the position

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in deploying and managing Forcepoint Web Proxy within virtual environments, contributing to the completion of specific web-based security solutions. This position requires overseeing complex infrastructure, which includes installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining application software. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues found in large network environments, including VPNs and MPLS networks. Your expertise will be essential in preparing and maintaining documentation for processes and procedures related to new steps or procedures, ensuring that all operations are well-documented and easily accessible for future reference. In this role, you will need to maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, which is crucial in the field of cybersecurity. You will be expected to leverage your strong understanding of networking and website concepts, as well as best practices, to enhance the security posture of the organization. Familiarity with Keeper Security or similar password management solutions will be beneficial, as will experience in implementing and configuring proxy solutions in enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in one of the following areas and a working knowledge of one or more of the other areas: experience with multi-tenant enterprise environments, experience with SIEM enterprise solutions, and experience working directly with network monitoring tools like Wireshark. Understanding cybersecurity concepts and best practices is essential for success in this position, as you will be tasked with ensuring the integrity and security of the organization's information systems.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage Forcepoint Web Proxy in virtual environments.
  • Oversee complex infrastructure including installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of application software.
  • Troubleshoot issues in large network environments, including VPNs and MPLS networks.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to new steps or procedures.
  • Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related experience in cybersecurity or network engineering.
  • Strong understanding of networking and website concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with implementing and configuring proxy solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with Keeper Security or similar password management solutions.
  • BA/BS or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with multi-tenant enterprise environments.
  • Experience with SIEM enterprise solutions.
  • Experience working directly with network monitoring tools like Wireshark.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
